Born and brought up in west Delhi, Virat Kohli has a very fascinating and inspirational life story. According to his family, Virat used to swing his bat and ask his father to bowl when he was only 3 years of age.
He started his formal education at Vishal Bharti Public School. He has always been a bright student in academics but his interests were more inclined towards cricket. Seeing his interests in cricket. At the age of 9 years, his father made him join West Delhi Cricket Academy and always supported his game.
In the same academy, he was trained under Rajkumar Sharma and started playing matches at Sumeet Dogra cricket academy. When asked his coach about Kohli’s childhood, he said “at young age, Kohli was always ready to bat at any place, and it has always been very tough to send him back after training”.
And soon with time, he was selected to play for Delhi Under 15, starting his domestic cricket career.
